We all know there is a formal way to set a table. Dinner fork, salad fork, dessert spoon, soup spoon, bread knife, dinner knife. Who knew there were so many utensils?! While the formal table setting still serves as a helpful guide, it doesn’t (like everything else in your wedding) have to be followed exactly. Some of my favorite wedding details are the place settings–mainly because there are so many options and ways to get creative. Like these.
I always like seeing options without plates too. When serving your meal buffet-style, it’s usually a good idea to place the plates at the front of the buffet (to avoid the trouble of guests forgetting to bring theirs with them). Hooray for options!
